When will the LifePrint™ be available for sale?
Our Kickstarter project will go live in March with "Early Birds" getting a really significant discount. After Kickstarter, the product will be delivered to Kickstarter participants in January 2015 for iPhone supporters and April 2015 for Android supporters. We will be selling in US retail stores as early as April 2015.
How much will it cost?
Product will retail at $199.99 with a 30 pack of film being $19.99.
What size are the photos that I can print?
At the moment, LifePrint™ only supports 3" x 4" photos. We are working on future products that will support larger and smaller sizes as well.
Do I have to print with a border?
No. You have the option to print bordered or borderless photos within the app. Additionally, you will be able to customize your border shape and size as well to make it the perfect fit.
Can I write messages on my photos?
Yes, within our app, you will be able to write on the border or on the photo itself.
Does this only work with Instagram?
Any photo that saves to your camera roll you can print. That means this will work with Instagram and many other photo editing apps as well.
How long does the battery last?
The printer battery lasts for roughly 30 prints.
How do I share photos?
LifePrint™ has an app that enables you to "follow" and be "followed" by friends, family, and fans. For the people you're "following", they can send photos to your printer (you have accept/reject privileges) and for those that "follow" you, you can send their printer photos of your choice. Basically if you live in California and your mom lives in New York. You can easily send photos to your mom's printer and she can do the same for you. This works from anywhere in the world.
What devices is LIfePrint™ Compatible With?
LifePrint™ will be compatible with both iPhone and Android. iPhone will be launching in January 2015 and Android in April 2015 iOS compatibility: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPad 3, iPad Mini, iPad Air, and future Apple devices Android Compatibility: Samsung Galaxy S3/S4, HTC One, Google Nexus 5, Galaxy Note 2/3, and future Android devices.
When will LifePrint™ be available in retail stores?
We are shipping the Apple version of the product for Kickstarter supporters in January 2015. Android supporters will ship in April 2015. Product will be available in retail and through this website shortly thereafter.
What are the dimensions of LifePrint™?
The LifePrint™ printer measures roughly 6.5" long x 4.5" wide x 1.5" thick. Weighs approximately 1.5 lbs. Small enough to easily fit in one hand as you see in the video.
What is the film capacity for the printer?
Film capacity will be 10 prints.
Can I hide myself from 'followers'?
Yes. You have the option of having your printer be private. So if you don't want anyone sending you photos or 'friending' your printer, you can stay off the grid.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, 1 Year warranty on the printer.
