8 Famous Parties That Are Made for Great Photos

8 Famous Parties That Are Made for Great Photos

Memories Made for Printing.

We’ve all heard it before: If you don’t have pictures, it didn’t happen! Telling your friends that crazy story about how you traveled to Thailand is one thing, but being able to back it up with pictures and videos is another thing entirely. And unless you’re J.K. Rowling, your words alone probably won’t be able to express how awesome that party was.

It’s way more effective (and far faster) to show your friends and followers some amazing pictures and videos you took at the event. Plus, you’ll have those snapshots forever, so you can relive your glory days whenever you want. With Lifeprint’s iPhone photo printer, you can capture and print out all the highlights of the biggest parties all over the world. Here are eight parties just dying to be captured by your Lifeprint printer.

1. Burning Man in Nevada

A post shared by SoundandNoize (@soundandnoize) on

Looking to get in touch with your creative side? Look no further than the annual Burning Man Festival, where tens of thousands of people gather every year to build Black Rock City. This weird and wonderful metropolis is a full-fledged city that exists only for the duration of the festival. How many people do you know who can say that they built a city? Once you’ve built the city, hang out with some like-minded people in a camp or make some art. What you do is up to you.

Obviously, both the process of bringing Black Rock City to life and the finished product are just begging for you to take photos. Since the city gets deconstructed after the event, you’ll basically be like a historian, preserving evidence of this civilization with your photos. Obviously, you also need to snap some shots of the giant, titular “burning man” effigy. Since fire looks way cooler in motion, take advantage of Lifeprint’s iPhone photo printer’s video capabilities. Just use the app to bring that fire leaping to life.

2. New Year’s Eve in NYC

Is there anything more iconic than watching the ball drop on New Year’s Eve? Loads of people all over the world watch the glittering disco ball make its descent on television, but if you actually make the trek to Times Square, it’s like a whole different world. Bundle up in your most stylish winter apparel and try to get the reporters to put you on national television, as you hoot and holler with the rest of the crowd.

It would be super lame to take a video of the ball dropping on your TV, but it would be awesome to film it live and in person. Plus, you’ll have to take a ton of photos and videos of all the star-studded performances (we’re looking at you, Mariah Carey). Bring along your Lifeprint Android photo printer so you can print out your glam shot of Mariah. Who knows? Maybe you can track her down and get an autograph.

3. La Tomatina in Spain

A post shared by Mikel Ponce (@mikel_ponce) on

If you’ve ever dreamt of having a real-life food fight, we have five words for you: go big or go home. Every year on the last Wednesday in August, the world’s largest food fight takes place in Bunol, Spain. It’s called La Tomatina, and it’s a giant, amazing mess comprised of 20,000 people hurling tomatoes at each other. The event starts with one brave soul climbing to the top of a greased pole to retrieve a ham. After the ham is secured, water cannons signal the beginning of the hour-long fight. It sounds crazy, but it’s 100% real.

Taking pictures during the fight definitely puts you at risk of getting hit with a tomato, but those photos could be worth it. You’ll want to be careful not to get your Lifeprint iPhone photo printer covered in tomatoes, but you’ll definitely want to have it on hand to print and share proof of your insane tomato fight.

4. Mardi Gras in New Orleans

New Orleans is a big party place on a regular day, so if you make it down to Bourbon Street for Mardi Gras festival, get ready for the time of your life. Mardi Gras, known as the “Greatest Free Show on Earth,” has been happening in New Orleans since 1837. It’s now well-known for its signature colors of purple, green, and gold, as well as the elaborate parades and masks worn during the event. Mardi Gras is the last day of Carnival season, falling each year on Fat Tuesday (also known as the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday).

With all of the revelry and color swirling around you, there’s plenty to document during your Mardi Gras celebration. The holiday’s costumes and floats are specially constructed every year, so make sure you take advantage of these one-of-a-kind photo ops with your Lifeprint iPhone photo printer.

5. Full Moon Party in Thailand

If once-yearly events aren’t your thing, how about a party that happens every month? Thailand’s Full Moon Party takes place on the night of every full moon in Koh Phangan. Tens of thousands of people gather on the crescent-shaped beach of Haad Rin for music, dancing, and entertainment.

A rotating cast of DJs plays different types of music to suit everyone’s taste. If you need a break from dancing, you can take in the skill of the fire-eaters and jugglers, or grab some food and drinks at one of the many local vendors who come out for the event. Of course, you can always take a dip in the Gulf of Thailand for a relaxing break from the dancing.

With neon and black lights abounding, the rave-like time you’ll have at the Full Moon Party is a perfect chance for photos. Since you’ll be partying with a million other people, the chances of making a new friend are pretty high. Maybe you’ll meet someone who could be more than just a friend — and nothing will be smoother than writing your number on the selfie you took with them and printed with your Lifeprint Android photo printer. Just saying.

6. Oktoberfest in Germany

Sure, you could celebrate Oktoberfest in your local German bar… or you could just go to Germany and experience the real thing. Oktoberfest takes place every year at the end of September and beginning of October in Munich. It includes costumes, a Rifleman’s Parade, a parade of breweries, Oktoberfest mass, and, oh yeah, a ton of beer.

Make sure you get some pictures of the traditional Oktoberfest costumes, while you drink out of a big ol’ stein of beer — and remember, drinking age in Germany is 16. Your social media posts will make all your friends back home very, very jealous, especially if they’re into beer and schnitzel. If your friend has a Lifeprint iPhone photo printer, too, you can send the photos right to their printer. It’s 50% wish-you-were-here and 50% bragging rights.

7. Coachella in California

Name a more iconic music festival; we’ll wait. Coachella is the OG music festival, and it’s still one of the biggest, most intense music festivals that you can attend. With dozens upon dozens of big-name artists and smaller bands, there are almost too many acts to hear. If all the music isn’t enough to lure you in, Coachella also features site-specific art installations that are totally Instagram-worthy.

Coachella is definitely a time to take some videos of your favorite artists playing your fave songs. Don’t forget — with Lifeprint’s iPhone photo printer, you can print out stills from those videos, then bring them to life as videos with our app.

8. Your Next Big Music Concert

A post shared by Kyler Clark (@cerealkyler) on

The next big music concert you attend might not be a party in its own right, but music concerts and nights of partying and celebration go hand-in-hand. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to score backstage passes and meet a band. If they let you take photos with them, whip out your cell phone that has the Lifeprint app and snap away.

You can treasure your time with the band and print photos of the occasion later with your Lifeprint iPhone photo printer or Android photo printer. View the prints through our app, and they will “come to life” in your hands, showing events from the celebratory night in action.

Party On

Are you ready to party? We are. And Your Lifeprint iPhone photo printer is. It’s time to plan your next big adventure, and we’re not talking house parties. Whether you dig the artsy vibe of Burning Man or are dying to channel your inner child at Tomatina, the world has a fabulous party for you. Grab some friends and start planning a trip to one of these eight crazy parties. While the events will eventually come to an end, your Lifeprint pictures and videos are forever.
